INFORMATION

Entitlements for People with Disabilities and Entitlements for the Over Sixties

These two publications are produced annually. They contain information on all aspects of entitlements, services and supports for the people with disabilities and older people including social welfare, health, taxation, housing and other supports.

Employment Rights Explained

Provides information on all aspects of employment law.

Relate

Monthly information journal available on subscription. Providing an update on legislation and developments in the broad social services and social policy areas. The current charge for Relate is €15.87 per annum.

EU Supplement

A supplement to Relate published quarterly. It provides updates on relevant EU policy developments.

Budget Information Pack

Published after the annual Budget, this pack contains a summary of relevant tax and social welfare changes and is circulated to organisations in the voluntary and statutory sectors.

Where to Complain - a Guide for Consumers

A guide to the organisations in the public and commercial arena which facilitate citizens and consumers in enforcing their rights.

Leaflets

There is a range of leaflets on topics such as Benefits and Taxes, Medical Cards, Information for School Leavers and Bereavement.

Wallcharts

A range of information wallcharts on topics such as People with Disabilities, One Parent Families and Housing Options

VOLUNTARY SECTOR

Directory of National Voluntary Organisations and Other Agencies

A comprehensive directory listing over 500 voluntary organisations in Ireland and related public bodies, price €10 plus postage.

Managing Volunteers: a Good Practice Guide.

Provides guidance on managing volunteers from recruitment to training and support, (currently being reviewed and updated).

Current Account: Journal of the National Money Advice Training and Community Education Service

Reflects development news/views and is a useful reference to all those involved in money advice work.
