The February issue of Relate describes the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 in detail. It also reviews changes to the legislation governing the Non-Principal Private Residence (NPPR) or second home charge. It looks at the Water Services (Amendment) Bill 2011 which provides for a system for the registration and inspection of septic tanks and other on-site waste water treatment systems. It reviews the Legal Services Regulation Bill 2011 currently being discussed in the Oireachtas and also looks at health-related and other legislation.
